One Call Texting “Opt in”

The district is expanding the use of the One Call Now system to include text messages.  The text messages will be used to notify the district members of short, time sensitive messages, for example, this will be ideal for school delays and cancellations.  The texting service is “opt in” which means that it has to be signed up for to receive.  If you are a current member of the phone call messages, you can text ALERT to 22300 and you will be added to the texting group.  I will send out a practice text sometime this week.  You cannot sign up for text messages if you are not signed up for voice messages.
